Party Time!

Perfect day for a party! We threw a little birthday bash for our girl on Saturday, July 30th. Brad cooked up some BBQ and we ate, played, caked, and laughed. The highlight for me was watching Eva literally "dig in" to that birthday cake. She started with her hands, then just went in head first. I was in stitches! It was so funny! Here is the highlight reel:

A Celebration Weekend!

So our little love turned 1 on July 29th and we couldn't wait to celebrate! Since her birthday was on a Friday, Brad and I took off work and for a little "family retreat" out on the boat. We cruised the intercoastal and anchored up at the Jupiter sandbar. It was a great time, Eva loved it! So did the doggies... We definitely need to do that more often. Here are some pics from the day.

Time Flies!

Eva is 9 months now and growing so fast. She is really getting quite a personality and she makes us laugh all the time. She is a fast and furious crawler and she can pull herself up to standing on almost anything. She loves to get into everything, none of her toys are good enough to play with..of course she wants to play with the stuff she is NOT supposed to have. In the morning when Brad and I bring her to our bed, she goes right for our nightstands and is not happy until she has pushed EVERYTHING off of them, it's such a fun game :)  Eva is so lucky so many people have come to see her these last couple months! Grandma Watts came for a visit and so did Great-Grandpa Ron and Beany Maxson. Grandma Clark is here for the whole summer and Pops Clark has come down as well. Its been so fun!

Eva's Baptism and Mothers Day

May 8th what a day! We had Eva baptized that morning at church, then had a celebration at our house with family and friends. It was so special--considering it was Mothers Day (my very first!) and Grandpa and Beany were in town all the way from LA! One of the best days of my life.
